(Little Jeff all the way up to Big Jeff. Pick your favorite!)

Jeff fits under the title of Jack of All Trades, but the category he'd most like to be associated with is Director. Jeff graduated ninth in his class from Irving High School in 1994. He was accepted into the University of North Texas and began pursuing a career in music. It was a toss up between band director or movie soundtrack composer, but after taking a few remedial film classes at UNT, he decided to drop the whole music angle and go back to his main passion, film. Putting all his eggs in one basket, he transferred to Columbia College Chicago in August of 1996 and made his feature-filmmaking debut with the film Pinto Bean in 1998. After receiving his BA in Film, he worked his mojo in sunny Los Angeles.

Mr. Chaffin returned to Texas in 2001 and settled in the film mecca of the south, Austin. When Jeff met up with Travis Ammons in 2002, Travis pitched his idea to turn his play, "Manhood is Dead" into a film. They had no budget, but managed to pull it off with Travis directing and Jeff acting as cinematographer and editor. The indomitable duo collaborated once again in the same roles for the film Club Foot, which is currently in the final stages of post-production. Now in pre-production and re-writes, Jeff will soon begin shooting his pet project, Ungirlfriendable.

With seven years of professional experience behind the camera and at the editing bench, Jeff can turn a simple or extravagent wedding into a moving cinematic experience. His experience also allows him to move easily between any video projects, be it a commercial, music video or live concert. Collaboration is key to the success of any filmed media, so bring in your idea and he will work with you to maximize the final product.
